This print is a nod to a song with the same title from the cartoon series Madeline that I grew up watching and was popular in the 80's. Madeline sings about a surgery she had on her appendix while revealing her scars to her fellow orphans.
My scars are from an emergency laparoscopy surgery I had on Valentine’s Day for an ectopic pregnancy.
